The following individuals have joined Eastern Data, Inc.:
- Ruthie Kearns has joined Eastern Data, Inc. as Director of Sales and Marketing. Kearns is a
native of Myrtle Beach and was formerly associated with Coastal Federal Bank and BB&T. She earned a Masters Degree and a Bachelor
of Arts Degree from the University of South Carolina and pursued post graduate studies in marketing at Ohio State University and in
finance at the University of Texas. Kearns is active in the community, currently serving on the Horry County Higher Education
Commission, the Horry County United Way Board, the Academic Affairs Committee of the Coastal Carolina University Board of Trustees,
the Santee Cooper Advisory Board, and the Horry County Schools Business Cabinet. She has also completed Leadership Grand Strand and

- Kyle Coldren has joined Eastern Data, Inc.’s Corporate Office in Virginia Beach as Senior Network Engineer.
Kyle Coldren has over 11 years of experience in a variety of corporate IT initiatives ranging from responsibilities
for worldwide WAN connections to being the IT employee in a manufacturing plant with over 400 employees. His current
responsibilities include setting up and maintaining networks, IT equipment and servers. He also provides consulting
services for businesses regarding security and disaster planning. Coldren is a graduate of Texas A&M University.
- Chris Rivera has joined Eastern Data, Inc.’s Corporate Office in Virginia Beach and will be assisting and supporting
existing and future clients in all areas of the medical profession due to his extensive knowledge of healthcare technology.
Mr. Rivera has over seven years of experience in healthcare technology and is A+, Network+, MCP and MCSE Certified. His most
recent work with MISYS HealthCare Systems involved installing, configuring and implementing Network Infrastructure for Misys
Electronics Medical Records. Chris Rivera has also worked with the installation of other vendors such as Allscripts Electronic
Medical Records, Greenway Healthcare and Athena Health. Other experience Includes Wireless Technology, Network Administration
and end user training. Chris Rivera is originally from Puerto Rico and has lived in the Virginia Beach area for 20 years.
- Shawn Eastland has joined Eastern Data, Inc. as Sr. Structured Cabling Technician. In his new role, Mr. Eastland
will be working in the company’s new Structured Cabling Division which will provide complete Voice and Data network
structures, Fiber Optics, Outside Plant cabling systems, Audio & Video build-outs, Security systems, access control
and select telephone systems. Eastland has more than 11 years of high-level network administration and telecommunications
experience in the Hampton Roads market.
- Stan Banach Sr. has joined Eastern Data, Inc. of Virginia Beach in their Structured Cabling division.
Mr. Banach comes to Eastern Data after owning and operating his own telecommunications & cabling business
servicing Hampton Roads for the past ten years. Mr. Banach will bring his high level of expertise to a division
that provides complete Voice and Data network structures, Fiber Optics, Outside Plant cabling systems, Audio & Video
build-outs, Security systems, access control and select telephone systems.

Eastern Data is pleased to announce the acquisition of Southside Telecommunications and Networking, Inc in Virginia Beach.

The world’s largest software maker said "Service Pack 1" will improve Vista's reliability, security and performance, though many components already have been released during monthly updates since the operating system went on sale just over a year ago.
