The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) has become a requirement for participation in some DoD RFIs and RFPs, ultimately expanding to include DoD procurement by fiscal year 2026. Primes and subcontractors can expect to see more bids requiring CMMC compliance in the coming years.

DoD Assessment
As organizations prepare for CMMC, they also need to comply with the DoD assessment requirements associated with DFARS 252.204-7019 and 7010.
Eastern Data will work with a CMMC Third Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO) to initially conduct your basic assessment against the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) 800-171 requirements or prepare for a Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center DIBCAC) assessment. We can also assist with loading your scores in the DoD's Supplier Performance Risk Systems (SPRS).
CMMC Gap Assessment
Eastern Data uses our extensive understanding of cybersecurity, NIST SP 800-171 and the requirements of the CMMC model, to assist with mapping existing controls in the CMMC model, identifying gaps between controls and the CMMC model, and provide recommendations for remediating those control gaps.
